I’ll admit it; I’m a bit of a snack monster. My wife and I do a decent job of keeping healthy foods in the house. However, I often crave a little something extra between meals or after dinner. Who doesn’t?

Well, I learned a long time ago that there’s no point in bringing junk food and candy into the house. I will eat it all, every last bit. And now that we have a toddler running around, it’s important to demonstrate good eating habits.

Recently, I discovered UrthBox. UrthBox is a subscription box company that delivers healthy snacks and beverages to your door every month. At first, my initial thought was, why wouldn’t I go to the store and grab a snack for myself? Well, it didn’t take me long to answer that question. When it comes to snack foods, I don’t always pick out the healthiest options. That’s just the way it is.

Here’s How It Works

First of all, you choose either a mini, small, medium or large box.
Next, pick a plan that’s right for you. UrthBox offers a one-month, three months, six months, or one-year subscription.
Finally, the last step before check out is to choose your box type. And, here’s where it gets interesting. Urthbox offers you a choice between the classic box, gluten-free, vegan, or diet-friendly option.

My First UrthBox Order

So, after looking into what was on offer, I thought I might as well give it a try. It has got to better than some of my usual go-to snacks. As a bit of a trial run, I selected the small box on a three-month plan, choosing the classic box. I’m not vegan, and I do not usually shop for gluten-free products. The classic box will be an excellent introduction to what this service has to offer.

Once the three-month subscription is up, I’ll post a full review to our website’s review section.
